Singapore-based Flextronics International Ltd., a builder of electronics for other companies, had a fiscal second-quarter
profit as sales rose 2.9 percent. Net income was U.S. $34.67 million, or $0.07 a share, compared with a net loss of $329.8 million, or $0.69 a share, a year earlier, Flextronics said. Sales increased to $3.34 billion from $3.24 billion.
Flextronics assembles computers, printers, mobile phones, and other devices for customers including Cisco Systems Inc. and Hewlett-Packard Co. (Bloomberg News)
