Maytag's Dixie-Narco vending business and Bianchi Vending Group of Italy have formed a strategic alliance for product development and distribution initiatives in the vending industry. The Bianchi Vending Group is said to be one of Europe's largest full-line manufacturers of vending equipment based in Bergamo, Italy. Recently, the Bianchi Vending Group announced a merger with Tecnomet Italia, a Pescara, Italy-based producer of refrigerated vending equipment.
According to the alliance, Dixie-Narco will expand its current product line by sourcing additional models of refrigerated vending equipment from Bianchi Vending. These units will be sold in selected European and North American markets. Additionally, other vending product opportunities will be considered for joint product distribution in the future.
Commenting on the alliance, Maytag's Chairman and CEO Ralph F. Hake said, "This alliance with the Bianchi Vending group further diversifies Dixie- Narco's business base and it demonstrates Maytag's commitment to growing its presence in the vending industry in Europe and the United States."
Dixie-Narco President Thomas A. Briatico added, "By joining forces with the Bianchi Vending Group, along with our alliance with Nippon Conlux of Japan, we will be able to offer our vending customers further product and service opportunities. We will provide a one-stop purchasing experience where they can purchase a full line of vending equipment and payment systems in one transaction."
Tecnomet Italia President Fabio Quadrio said, "This relationship with North America's beverage vending leader will enable both companies to explore other new vending opportunities as they are identified, and our company is excited to form this alliance with Dixie-Narco and Maytag."
Bianchi Vending Group Chief Executive Dr. Massimo Trapletti added, "Our recent merger with Tecnomet Italia, and now the relationship with Dixie-Narco and Maytag, allows our joint businesses to further explore new vending opportunities in many new markets around the world."
