Japan's domestic shipments of personal computers in the January-June period this year declined 15.1 percent from a year before to 6,804,510 units, a research and consulting firm said. Shipments in the July-December period, however, are expected to rise 4.7 percent, mainly due to an expected recovery in personal computers for household use, International Data Corporation (IDC) Japan said.
