U.S. manufacturers' shipments of full-sized vacuums shrunk in May, the fourth consecutive month of declines. May was down 10.9 percent
to 1,386,151 uprights, canisters and stick vacs from 1,555,468 units, the month's record. The latest month was the second best for May. After January rose by 2.2 percent, consecutive declines have been 12.6, 9.4, 6.6, and 10.9 percent. The year to date reached 7,871,383 units, down 7.8
