The Electrolux Group (NASDAQ: ELUX) announced that Mary Kay Kopf has joined Electrolux Home Products (EHP) North America as vice president of Brand Marketing. Ms. Kopf joins the company at a pivotal time in Electrolux history. Electrolux is the world?s largest manufacturer of appliances for kitchen, cleaning and outdoor use combined. Last year, the company announced it was launching a major global branding initiative to create fewer and stronger brands and to strengthen the company?s flagship Electrolux brand. In 2002, Electrolux Home Products began adding the Electrolux name to Frigidaire appliances in North America and this year introduced a line of Electrolux branded major kitchen appliances that will be available in early 2004. Ms. Kopf?s role will include leading the launch of the Electrolux brand and providing strategic direction for Frigidaire from Electrolux product lines in the future. Back
