According to a release Wednesday from the Consumer Electronics Association, a recent consumer survey by eBrain Market Research shows that color TVs with 20- to 25-in screens and those with 27-in or larger screens represent the largest portion of video products owned by U.S. consumers in 2002, a trend which continues into 2003.
According to the survey, the percentage of consumers owning 20- to 25-in color TVs increased from 55 percent to 72 percent year-over-year. The survey also reports that the number of households with 27-in or greater TVs—not including projection TVs—rose from 47 percent to 62 percent.
