Bertazzoni said it is gaining momentum in the U.S. and Canada with several industry awards, including the 2013 Good Design Award for its Professional Series Arancio line.
The new orange-colored range was also a finalist in the 2013 Interior Design Magazine Best of Year Awards in the category of best kitchen appliance.
The range also received an editor’s choice award from Canada’s Designline Magazine at the 2014 Interior Design Show.
Bertazzoni also reported that North American sales were up 20% in 2013, with worldwide sales up 12% in 2013.
Italy-based Bertazzoni is a 132-year old, family-owned company. It unveiled its latest range line for the North American market at the 2013 Architectural Digest Home and Design Show in New York City.
At the show, Bertazzoni unveiled advanced new features for its Professional Series, Master Series and Heritage Series ranges. The orange color of the new Arancio Professional Series range was inspired by the foods of the Emilia-Romagna region where Bertazzoni manufactures all of its products.
“The Bertazzoni brand has always embraced its Italian heritage by blending precision engineering with aesthetic beauty,” said Paolo Bertazzoni, President and fifth generation CEO of Bertazzoni. “These awards pay tribute to the many talented designers that we are fortunate to work with in developing beautiful, high-performing cooking appliances.”
The Good Design award is organized annually by The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design in cooperation with the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies.
