Hisense, in October 2013, launched its DZ9 dual-zone temperature-controlled chest freezer at Lowe’s stores in the United States. The appliance has a combined 9.0 cubic foot capacity in two compartments.

One is a 6.7-cubic-foot deep freezer. The other compartment is a 2.3-cubic-foot freezer/refrigerator section with an adjustable temperature range from 21 degrees F to 50 degrees F.

"Hisense is one of the world’s largest white goods providers and the launch of our DZ9 with Lowe’s further establishes our foothold in the U.S. appliance market,” said Hisense USA Vice President of Marketing Jonathan Frank.
