Panasonic Corp. will exhibit appliances with its proprietary Nanoe technology at the 2014 International CES expo. CES 2014 will take place in Las Vegas from January 7-10.

Panasonic will be in Booth 9806 in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. In addition to personal care appliances the company will exhibit new cooking appliances and built-in appliances. Its espresso machines will also be on display as a reference exhibit, with tasting demonstrations on offer for visitors to the booth.

Panasonic launched personal care appliances using Nanoe technology in the North American market. Professional stylists will be demonstrating the products at CES. The technology produces nano-sized electrostatic atomized water particles, used in devices to improve air quality.

The units gather moisture from the air and apply a high voltage to generate nano-sized water particles. Panasonic calls the electrified water particles "electrostatic atomized water." The company said they contain reactive components that affect a variety of substances, and thus can inhibit viruses and bacteria as well as reduce pesticides.

Panasonic said the highly reactive components bond with other substances and therefore have a short life. However, the reactive components produced through “the electrostatic atomized water technology” are contained inside of the water particles. Therefore it has been proven that the substances have a longer life and are delivered to wider areas.
