The Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute will host a conference on its Low-GWP Alternative Refrigerants Evaluation Program (AREP). The conference will take place in New York City on Jan. 16, 2014 at the New York Hilton Midtown, a day before the ASHRAE Winter Conference, which will take place in the same hotel.
AHRI's Low-GWP AREP program serves to identify and evaluate alternative refrigerants for product categories such as air-conditioners, heat pumps, chillers, ice makers, and refrigeration.
Program testing will wrap up in 2013 and final test results will be presented at the conference.
More information and registration is on the AHRI website at: www.ahrinet.org.
