Appliance maker Electrolux (Stockholm), as it had announced previously, applied the amended standard for pension accounting, IAS 19 Employee Benefits, as of Jan. 1, 2013.

The most important change is that Electrolux will no longer have the option to use the corridor approach. Opening balances for 2013 and reported figures for 2012 have been restated to enable comparison.

Restated figures show 2012 operating income, previously stated to be SEK 4,150 million, was restated to be SEK 4,000 million.
