Excel Expands Zero-Turn Mower Production Feb 12, 2013

Excel Industries (Hesston, KS) is taking steps to increase production of new zero-turn lawn mowers under its Hustler and BigDog brands, according to a report from Greenindustrypros.com. Article author Lisa Danes reported that Excel added 39 employees, bringing the company's total staff to 450.

The company also expanded its manufacturing facility with a 40,000-square-foot addition last year. The extra workers and space will help the company accommodate the production of five new product lines introduced in the fall of 2012.
