Gree Electric Appliances (Zhuhai, China) reported sales 100.084 billion yuan (approx. USD $16.1 billion) for full-year 2012, an increase of 19.84% from 2011. The company reported net profit of 7.378 billion yuan (approx. $1.18 billion) for 2012, up 40.88% from 2011.
The company's predominant business is residential and commercial air-conditioners. It also makes fans, electric space heaters, and small electric housewares such as rice cookers and electric kettles.
The company has nine production facilities in China, Brazil, Pakistan, and Vietnam. It has an annual production capacity of 60 million residential air-conditioners (RAC) and 5.5 million commercial air-conditioners (CAC).
