Kitchen Brains, maker of controls and networking for commercial appliances and commercial kitchens, acquired the assets of Modularm Corp., a manufacturer of products to protect perishables, save energy, and increase operator safety.
"This acquisition adds refrigeration and cold storage products to our portfolio, allowing us to more broadly serve our OEM and chain restaurant clients" said Tim Lane, vice chairman of the board.
"By leveraging our global Customer Support Centers in the UK, China and Singapore as well as our network of Distribution Partners, we will be able to extend the reach of Modularm products to a much broader market," expressed George Koether, president, Kitchen Brains.
Don Olson, founder of Modularm, will continue to lead sales and product line management under Kitchen Brains.
