Metal Coaters officially opened its coil coating facility in Middletown, OH. The facility, previously operated by Material Sciences Corp., was purchased in June 2010 and has been modernized. The facility can coat various gauges and widths of metal for variety of applications, with either conventional, dried-in-place, or RoHS-compliant pretreatments.
An embossing unit has been installed at the facility and a rail spur was constructed to provide for customers who desire toll processing of metal substrate.
"With the addition of the Middletown, Ohio facility, we now operate facilities in three time zones and we are the only coil coater in the United States who can provide localized service to every manufacturing region of significance in the United States," said John Kuzdal, President of Metal Coaters.
The company now operates four light-gauge coil coating facilities. Metal Coaters is a business segment of NCI Group, Inc.
