Hisense Increasing Appliance Market Share in Fiji Jan 9, 2013

Hisense refrigerator market share had grown to 11% in Fiji, according to annual sales data from the company's agent in-country, Courts. This makes the brand on of the top-three brands for refrigerators. Market share for Hisense TV is up to 9%, putting the brand n the top 5.

Hisense said cooperative efforts between itself and Courts have helped build strong brand awareness in Fiji.

Hisense products in the Fijian home appliance market include refrigerators, TVs, air-conditioners, washing machines, and small appliances. Hisense said the brand is also gaining acceptance among builders and professional customers, with Hisense air-conditioning products slated for use in four projects in the country.

Fiji is a South Pacific Ocean nation, with a population of about 840,000 on 100 islands. Most of the population (about 580,000) is on the island of Viti Levu.
