Danfoss Opens First Cold Chain Center in India Dec 18, 2012

Danfoss Industries Private Ltd. opened its new Cold Chain Centre at Frigsales Climate Tech Private Limited in Chennai, in association with partner Shravan Engineering Enterprises Ltd.

The new center will display the supplier's key products in the cold chain market, including:
* controls for ammonia/refrigerant-based cold store systems
* condensing units for dairy and cold chain applications
* Adap Kool solutions for supermarkets
* variable speed drives for refrigeration applications

Danfoss Group is based in Nordborg, Denmark, and is a global supplier of compressors, refrigeration systems components, and other parts for appliances and HVAC/R equipment.

Noel Ryan, President of Danfoss India, inaugurated the center at an event attended by partners, consultants, and other representatives of the cold chain industry.

The supplier also plans other new cold chain centers in the North and West of India.

The supplier has been operating in India since 1998 and in 2012 has 350 employees in 10 offices in the country.
