Whirlpool to Supply Appliances to Clayton Homes Dec 3, 2012

Whirlpool Corp., widely considered the world's largest appliance manufacturer, signed a single-source supplier agreement with Clayton Homes, America's largest builder of manufactured and modular homes.

As of Jan. 1, 2013, Clayton Homes' customers will be able to choose from a selection of kitchen appliances from Whirlpool Corp.

Clayton Homes, based in Knoxville, TN, builds manufactured and modular homes in several price points and designs to target many customer demographics.

"Whirlpool is the only appliance supplier with a truly complete portfolio of brands to match every lifestyle that Clayton Homes builds to, which makes this a valuable partnership for Whirlpool, Clayton Homes and its homebuyers across the country," said Mark Wilson, Whirlpool Corp.'s national sales manager for specialty markets.
