De'Longhi SpA reported revenues of 344.4 million euros in the third quarter of 2012, up 6.2% from the third quarter of 2011. Net income for the quarter was 31.0 million euros.
De'Longhi Group is a global appliance maker based in Treviso, Italy. Appliance brands include the recently acquired Braun, as well as De'Longhi and Kenwood.
In the first nine months revenues grew 8.3%, from 913.3 million euros in 2011 to 988.8 million euros in 2012.
Net income was 63.3 million euros, from 56.4 million in the first nine of 2011.
De'Longhi said the nine-month results confirm a strong good trend in coffee makers and other kitchen appliances categories, which now represent more than 70% of group revenues.
Unfavorable weather in the third quarter did cause a slowdown in sales of portable heating appliances.
In the third quarter the group also finalized the perpetual licensing agreement for the Braun brand in kitchen, ironing, and other product categories and the group started the Braun transition and integration plan.
