Chinese air-conditioner producer Chigo earned an exemption from export inspection on Oct. 23, 2012.

Chigo was officially awarded the exemption at a ceremony at the Guangdong Chigo Air Conditioning Co., Ltd. facility in Foshan in Guangdong Province of China.

Li Qingxiang, deputy director of Guangdong Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, issued the certificate and plaque to Huang Xingke, vice president of Chigo.

Chigo originally earned the exemption in 2009. The exemption renewal makes it the only enterprise qualified for export exemption for split air-conditioners.
