Victrex Building New PAEK Plant for 2015 Oct 19, 2012

Victrex Polymer Solutions, a global supplier of polyaryletherketones (PAEK), plans to increase production capacity by about 70% for PAEK polymers. The polymers have applications in industrial, electronics, and other sectors.

The capacity will add 2,900 metric tonnes (MT) of polymer output annually when it comes on-stream in early 2015. Total annual production of PAEK polymers will then be more than 7,000 MT per annum, up from the company's current capacity of 4,250 MT per annum.
