Chunlan air-conditioners were among the products recognized when Chinese appliance Energy Efficiency Star evaluation results were officially announced on September 6.
The Energy Efficiency Star program is designed to encourage technological innovation and the marketing of energy efficient electrical appliances.
Energy Efficiency Star 2012 products, are based on 2012 annual energy saving evaluation requirements. The process encompasses voluntary declaration, product evaluation, and product sampling inspection.
