Lennox Names Johnston to Head NA Commercial Heating & Cooling; Bizios Retires Oct 5, 2012

Lennox International Inc. named Terry Johnston an executive vice president and named him president and COO of its North America Commercial Heating & Cooling business. Johnston will take the role on Jan. 1, 2013, following the year-end retirement of Harry Bizios after 30+ years with the company.

Harry developed and drove our commercial HVAC business to become the industry leader and innovator it is today," said Todd Bluedorn, chairman and CEO of Lennox International. "With Terry's strong operating experience and customer focus, our commercial HVAC business is well positioned to continue winning in the marketplace."

Johnston has served five years as vice president and general manager the Lennox North America commercial equipment business. He previously held marketing leadership roles in Lennox residential and commercial businesses. Prior to joining Lennox in 2001, Johnston spent 20 years at General Electric Company in a variety of product management and sales and marketing roles.
