The Northeast Wisconsin Manufacturing Alliance gave Excellence in Manufacturing/Education Partnerships Awards to outdoor power equipment maker Ariens Company and engines/generator maker Kohler Company.
The awards were presented on September 25, 2012, at an event at the K.I. Convention Center in Green Bay, WI.
Ariens Company is a family run manufacturer of mowers and snowblowers based in Brillion, WI.
Kohler Co. makes consumer generators and engines used in outdoor power equipment.
The NEW Manufacturing Alliance is an organization of manufacturers that work with educational institutions, workforce development boards, chambers of commerce, and state organizations to promote manufacturing in the region.
