August 2012 total product wholesaler sales were up 6.4%, or $31.7 million, from August 2011, according to the according to the Wholesalers' Sales Report from the Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating.
August 2012 was another record month, topping $500 million in sales. Year to date total product sales were up 8.6% - $294.5 million - compared to August 2011, bringing the year-to-date total to $3,724.3 billion.
The HVAC/R product group was up in all regions of Canada, with Quebec posting the strongest growth.
Canada-wide, the HVAC/R product group in August 2012 was up 14.0% compared to August 2011. The product group year-to-date was up 8.5%.
Other product groups within CIPH's scope include Hydronics, Plumbing, PVF, and Waterworks.
