Gree Appliances President Dong Is First Woman to Receive Kaoru Ishikawa Award Aug 22, 2012

The Asian Network for Quality (ANQ) Congress 2012 was held in Hong Kong on Aug. 1, 2012, attended by 400 delegates from 17 Asian countries.

At the event, Dong Mingzhu, chairman and president of Gree Electric Appliances, Inc. of Zhuhai, became the first woman to receive the Kaoru Ishikawa Award. The award recognizes striving for excellence through product and service quality.

ANQ was established in 2002. The ANQ Congress 2012 was hosted by the China Association for Quality (CAQ), Hong Kong Society for Quality (HKSQ), and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST).
