The Jura Impressa J9 One Touch TFT automatic coffee center won another design award - this time an Innovation Honor in Product Design at the third annual ICON Honors.
The automatic coffee appliance was chosen for intuitive design and user-friendly features intended to make it easier to prepare personalized specialty coffee drinks.
The ICON Honors celebrate achievement, contribution, and innovation in the home and gift industry.
The coffee center is designed to operate by turning a rotary dial to choose a coffee beverage, then pressing a button to brew. This is the first model in the line to feature the TFT color display. The 3.5-inch-square display combines graphics and text to showcase the type of beverage, number of ounces, coffee strength, and amount of milk, making it easier for users to personalize their beverage. It prepares a crema coffee, espresso, latte cappuccino, or latte macchiato in less than 60 seconds.
