AHRI Brings Export Resources to Members Jun 25, 2012

The Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) is now offering HVACR producers better access to international trade resources.

AHRI partnered with the U.S. Department of Commerce's U.S. Foreign and Commercial Service (US&FCS) to create a formalized program that offers AHRI members improved access to U.S. and Foreign Commercial Services' international trade resources. The New Market Export Initiative (NMEI) was developed to help U.S. manufacturers expand their export sales to new markets.

"We hope this will serve as a valuable tool to our member companies looking to expand into new markets," said AHRI President and CEO Stephen Yurek.

Through the NMEI program, AHRI members can receive assistance in developing new contacts for business in foreign markets, and in securing export financing, guarantees, and credit insurance. Assistance is available for members on how to comply with regulatory and documentation requirements.
