Electrolux named George Robbins, manager of its soon-to-close plant in L'Assomption, Quebec, to be plant manager of its new cooking appliance plant in Memphis, TN, according to the Memphis Commercial Appeal.
The media outlet reported that Electrolux Major Appliances North America named a total of five new appointments for the new plant, including:
* Leigh Ann Berko will be director of human resources
* Theo Stewart will be director of supply chain
* Catherine "Katie" Bloss will be director of quality
* Keith Remington will be controller
The L'Assomption plant will be closed after manufacturing is transferred to the new Memphis plant, which is currently under construction.
