Slovenian appliance maker Gorenje will likely break ground soon on a new plant to make premium refrigeration appliances. Gorenje Group is said to be close to signing an agreement with the Serbian government on infrastructure and other support for the plant in the company's hometown of Valjevo, according to Bloomberg. The report said Gorenje will invest 20 million euros in the new plant, which will make larger and higher-value refrigerators than are currently made by the company in the area. Government support is expected.
