Sears Holdings Names Agent to License Kenmore Brand Apr 10, 2012

Sears Holdings' Kenmore, Craftsman and DieHard business unit appointed Leveraged Marketing Corporation of America (LMCA) as its exclusive global licensing agent. LMCA will assist the retailer in its plan to extend the Kenmore appliance brand, as well as the Craftsman tools/power tools brand and the DieHard battery brand, to new product categories and geographic markets outside of the Sears company.

"This global licensing initiative for Kenmore, Craftsman and DieHard is aligned with our plans to strategically utilize our brands and other key assets to increase their long-term value," said Lou D'Ambrosio, Sears Holdings' chief executive officer and president.
