Husqvarna Recalls Chinese-Made Trimmers Due to Fire Hazard

Husqvarna Professional Products and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of certain grass and hedge trimmers made by Husqvarna Machinery Manufacturing Company in Shanghai.

About 19,500 grass trimmers and 6,500 hedge trimmers were sold. The trimmers have the potential to develop fuel leak from rubber spacer holding the fuel lines in the fuel tank, posing a fire hazard.

Husqvarna received seven reports of fuel leaking but no reports of injuries. Details - including the specific serial numbers of the recalled products and photos of the trimmers - can be seen at:
