IPC Names Mitchell President and CEO Mar 29, 2012

John W. Mitchell was named the new president of the IPC - Association Connecting Electronics Industries, effective April 23, 2012.

IPC said Mitchell brings a wealth of experience in strategic and tactical planning, international alliances and joint ventures, engineering management, creation of intellectual property, product marketing and business negotiations. His background includes management of both nonprofit and electronics industry organizations such as Bose Corp. and Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. Most recently he served as the CEO of Golden Key International Honour Society, a collegiate honor society, with more than 2 million members from more than 190 nations.

Mitchell will lead the organization's global operations and staff and will report to the IPC board of directors.
