Not Enough Snow in Minnesota; Toro Tests Snowblowers in Michigan Feb 6, 2012

The Toro Company couldn't find enough snow close to home in Minnesota this year, so it went to Michigan to test snowblowers this year, according to the Daily Globe of Ironwood, MI. Toro is testing snowblowers at the Gogebic-Iron County Airport.

According to the U.S. National Weather Service, there is just a trace of snow accumulation in the southeast corner of Minnesota, which includes the Twin Cities (Minneapolis and St. Paul). Toro is based in nearby Bloomington, MN.

The airport in Ironwood County, Michigan, on the shore of Lake Superior in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, has about 11 inches of snow, according to WeatherStreet.com.
