Fagor America is collaborating with Box Kitchen for a display opening tomorrow, Jan. 26, 2012, at the Haute Living showroom in Chicago's design district. Box Kitchen provides fully assembled kitchen designs, intended to be an alternative to the custom kitchen.
Fagor appliances will be installed as part of Box Kitchen's display of eco-friendly kitchen cabinetry at Haute Living, and will include the appliance maker's 30-inch induction cooktop and 24-inch side opening wall double oven.
Box Kitchen provides a modular system using the same premium components as custom cabinetry. Company founder and principle designer is Christine Ingrham, great-grand daughter of Frank Lloyd Wight.
"We are thrilled to partner with Christine Ingrham on such an ingenious and modern concept as Box Kitchen" said Sara De La Hera, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Fagor. "Our ideologies are parallel in that we also believe the kitchen is the heart and soul of the home and it should be created with efficiency, functionality and beauty".
Fagor America is a wholly owned subsidiary of Spanish appliance maker Fagor Electrodomesticos.
