Tecumseh Products Company, manufacturer of hermetic compressors, condensing units and other components for residential and commercial refrigeration and air-conditioning, appointed Darlene Knight vice president, Global Manufacturing and Quality Processes.
Knight will to report to Jim Connor, president and CEO.
Knight spent 22 years with General Motors through 2006 in a range of operations and manufacturing roles, including running General Assembly for GM’s Lansing, Michigan assembly plant and living in Mexico for three years while managing the Ramos Arizpe assembly facility.
Most recently she was president, Edscha-North America. Knight holds a BS in Industrial Administration from the GMI Engineering and Management Institute. She also holds a MS in Engineering Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
