The 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), held Jan. 10-13, 2012, had a record number of exhibitors, at more than 3100, taking up 1.86 million net square feet of exhibit space. The show attracted 153,000 attendees and the show organizer, the Consumer Electronics Association, classified 34,000 of those attendees as international. CEA estimated more than 20,000 new products were launched at the show. The show moved to a Tuesday-through-Friday format for 2012.
