Chunlan Raises Wages 20% Jan 4, 2012

Chinese residential and commercial air-conditioning OEM Chunlan Group began a new strategy for raising employee wages, starting Jan. 1, 2012, at a capital increase rate of 20%.

Chunlan's employee strategy includes better salaries and providing development achievements sharing opportunities. The company is seeking to improve employee enthusiasm and attract more skilled staff. Chunlan said it will always adhere to a "people-oriented" management approach, despite the economic slowdown, and hopes to leverage employee innovation to "turn the crisis into an opportunity."
