Lowe's Acquires Online Appliance Retailer ATG Jan 2, 2012

Home improvement retailer Lowe’s Companies acquired ATG Stores, an online retailer of major appliances and home improvement products.

ATG Stores will remain an independent, wholly owned subsidiary of Lowe’s and the organizations will keep branding and merchandising separate. Lowe's said all ATG jobs will remain at it’s the current ATB headquarters in Kirkland, WA, and that no jobs would be lost from the acquisition.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
