Brother Establishes Manufacturing Subsidiary in the Philippines Dec 27, 2011

Brother Industries, Ltd. will establish a manufacturing subsidiary, Brother Industries (Philippines), Inc. for its printer business. The company will invest $12 million in the new company, which will manufacture and sell its printers and all-in-one units. The plant is expected to start production in April 2013 and eventually have employees.

Brother currently has four plants making printers in Asia, in China, Malaysia, and Vietnam.
