BSH Brings Dishwasher Line to New Bern Dec 13, 2011

BSH Home Appliances Corp. will add a new dishwasher manufacturing line in its New Bern, NC, plant to begin operations in 2013 and create 119 positions in the next four years.

At the same time, a $147,476 Golden LEAF grant is going to Craven Community College Foundation to purchase industrial robotic equipment for specialized training in advanced robotics and welding. The program supports Craven County companies, including BSH, who have indicated a need for such training.

BSH Home Appliances Corp. is a U.S.-based wholly owned subsidiary of BSH Bosch und Siemens Hausgerate GmbH in Munich. BSH has appliance manufacturing operations in New Bern, NC, and La Follette, TN.
