Chris Stone joined the Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute as Senior Advisor, Performance Testing. Stone will work with AHRI staff and members to evaluate certification testing to ensure adherence to test standards and program requirements. He also will play a key role in developing commissioning documents for certification testing and correlation data evaluation.

Chris has more than 20 years of experience in HVAC/R and water heating testing, and has served on numerous AHRI, ASHRAE, and ISO committees. Chris has previously served as general manager – performance at Intertek and more recently was the Director of U.S. Programs at the Collaborative Labeling and Appliance Standards Program.
