Canadian Ductless Split Systems Shipments Up 68% in 2Q Sep 6, 2011

In the second quarter of 2011 ductless splits systems shipments showed the highest product sector gain in Canada, increasing 68%. Compared to the second quarter of 2010.

Other sectors movement in 2Q 2011, compared to 2Q 2010:
• unit heater shipments were up 7%
• commercial air-conditioning shipments were up 3%
• residential furnace shipments were down 10%
• chiller bookings were down 5%
• residential air-conditioning shipments were down 2%
