Anja Herling was named head of product management for the Home Appliances division at Grundig Intermedia GmbH. Herling started in the position in June 2011. Herling will report directly to Michael Geisler, director Home Appliances. She will have responsibility for the expansion of the two appliance product segments, Personal Care and Kitchen Appliances, as well as expansion of marketing partnerships.
“She brings five years of professional experience in the marketing of small electronic household appliances," said Geisler. He noted that Grundig expanded its Kitchen Appliances product portfolio in time for IFA 2010, establishing a basis for further growth in the appliance realm. "I am looking forward to continuing this positive trend with the support of Ms. Herling, by expanding our product spectrum for Home Appliances even further," Geisler added.
Herling previously was marketing manager at Russell Hobbs Germany, and in 2006 took on the responsibility for the entire marketing division, supporting successful expansion of the brand in Germany.
