Royal Philips Electronics' Philips Design unit won the 2011 Australian International Design Award for the Philips SensoTouch 3D shaver. Three products – the FreeStreet street lighting system, the Fidelio Docking Speaker, and the SensoTouch shaver - were Philips finalists for the Australian Design Awards. Earlier this year, all three of these products were amongst the Philips products successfully recognized with iF awards.

The electric shaver is for both wet and dry shaving, with a seamless and ergonomically body designed to be comfortable to hold. A display in the body turn on when the shaver is used.
