Emerson announced net sales for 3Q 2008 ended June 30, 2008 were US$6.6 billion, an increase of 14% compared with $5.8 billion for the same period last year. et sales were $18.1 billion, an increase of 12% over the same period last year.
Climate Technologies reported sales growth in the quarter of 4%, which included underlying sales growth of 1%. Strength in Asia was partially offset by weakness in the United States and Europe. Appliance and Tools sales declined by 1% in the quarter.
