High-end appliance maker Dacor (Costa Mesa, CA, U.S.) used email marketing campaigns and other methods to increase its social media fan base by five times in just one year. Email marketing provider Lyris, Inc., said Dacor used its services to achieve 99.9% email deliverability and grew its email marketing list three times. Dacor has partnered with the company since 2008, which said it now currently has average bounce and unsubscribe rates of less than 0.5%
A report from the services provider said Dacor credits Lyris with helping it address its challenge of effectively organizing and marketing to disparate groups of customers and separate target lists.
“We have been able to save time and money on email marketing, which has allowed us to focus our efforts on selling to grow our business,” said Sherry Chan, manager, emarketing for Dacor. “With three very different types of customers – homeowners, retailers, and kitchen design professionals - it is imperative that we tailor our email campaigns so that each audience receives a relevant message." She said the email services company helped Dacor accomplish these goals.
