North American Kitchen & Bath Market Index Stays Positive Aug 4, 2011

The NKBA Kitchen & Bath Market Index (KBMI) – which forecasts the confidence of North American kitchen and bath dealers on a scale of -60 to +60 - is still positive at +21 for the third quarter of 2011 but down from the first and second quarters. The KBMI was +37 in the first quarter of 2011 and +33 in the second quarter.

Kitchen remodels sales volume was up just 1% from the previous quarter but up 21% from the previous year. 55% of respondents anticipate an increase in 3Q 2011.
