The Japan Electrical Manufacturers' Association (JEMA) named Setsuhiro Shimomura, chairman of Mitsubishi Electric Corp., to be the new chairman of JEMA.
JEMA's members are Japanese companies in the electrical industries, including: power and industrial systems, home appliances, and related industries.
Fumio Ohtsubo, president of Panasonic Corp., serves as vice chairman of JEMA.
