Haier Electronics Group Company will acquire controlling interest in Hefei Goodaymart Electric Appliance Company from Henan Goodaymart Electric Appliance Company for RMB 5 million (approx. US$770,000) in a move designed to enhance Haier Electronics' service, sales, and distribution in the third and fourth tier high growth markets in China.
